Changing the Size of the Image Area

You can resize the Image Area for any given image by clicking on Set Image Area in the Image menu. This command does not resize the image; it defines the boundaries of the image.

Changing the size of the Image Area

You can specify the size of your image area in pixels or inches. The positioning controls allow you to place the image at the edge, corner, or center of the Image Area. If you expand the Image Area, the newly created background area will be colored with the currently selected background color.

By changing the size of the image area you create panoramic images (among other things). Expand the image area horizontally, then copy and paste other photographs into the existing image to create one continuous image.
